Alexander Dennis has delivered another nine Enviro500EV zero-emission double deck buses to Hong Kong’s MTR Corporation.

The buses are part of a larger order for 35 next-generation Enviro500EV, awarded in late 2023. A pre-production vehicle entered service in June 2024 as the Corporation’s first electric bus, with additional vehicles following in January 2025 ahead of the delivery of the remaining throughout this year and next, the manufacturer says.

Alexander Dennis is working on developing the next generation of the Enviro200EV single decker range, which will be launched this year.
