It was unveiled on Tuesday, December 3, at the 8th Autocar Expo in Lyon and has already been ordered in France. The newly unveiled Crossway ELEC Normal Floor from Iveco Bus has been chosen by transalpine operator APS (Autocars des Pays de Savoie).

The vehicles will be delivered at the beginning of the 2025 school year and will be assigned to the school transport of the Proxim’iti network in Bonneville, which covers 4 inter-municipal areas in the heart of Haute Savoie (Alps region).

The order includes not only the vehicles but also the associated charging infrastructure. Iveco Bus will also provide a mobile charger to support Autocars des Pays de Savoie in the use of its Crossway ELEC buses. With its Energy Mobility Solutions, Iveco Bus provides end-to-end customer support, offering a customized turnkey solution that can include the design, installation, and maintenance of the entire electric vehicle ecosystem and associated charging infrastructure.

With a length of 12.96 meters, the Crossway ELEC chosen by Autocars des Pays de Savoie will be equipped with four NMC battery packs. They will be able to accommodate 63 passengers in excellent comfort conditions.
