JBM Group is set to launch its new electric city bus with European homologation in March-April next year, starting with Germany. Plus, updated electric coach is coming at Busworld in 2025.
At the European Mobility Expo, Daniel Fräde, Director of Sales, Marketing & After Sales Europe at JBM Group, unveiled the company’s strategic roadmap for its electric bus offerings in Europe.
JBM plans for Europe
With over 5,000 electric buses already operational across various regions, JBM has clocked over 100 million electric kilometers and served more than 1 billion passengers in the last five years. The company aims to achieve over 1 billion e-kilometers and cater to 10+ billion passengers in the next 3-4 years.
JBM introduced two vehicles on the European market at Busworld 2023: the all-electric city bus Ecolife and the luxury coach (also battery-powered) Galaxy.
“The French market a very important market for us,” Fräde stated. He emphasized JBM’s plans to launch its city bus in Europe, which will feature European homologation and is expected to be ready by March-April next year. The initial rollout will begin in Germany, followed by further expansions across the continent. In October 2025, at Busworld Europe, a new version of the group’s electric coach is then expected.
Fräde noted that customers in Europe are looking for “a new alternative on the market which is a reliable product with great performance”.
“This year we’ve already a order book of 9,000 buses, and we operate already big fleets in India and we lease them out, so the performers must be great because we earn only money when our buses are running”, he added.
