The electric bus model MCV C127 EV celebrated its German premiere as a 3-door vehicle at ElekBu in Berlin in 2023 and was displayed again the vehicle at Mobility Move this year. Also in 2024, MCV Deutschland GmbH is presenting two different passenger compartment solutions based on the C127 EV 12-metre vehicle as a 2-door vehicle at BUS2BUS, with various seat layouts.

The first order for this model was achieved by MCV from Rheingold-Reisen in Wuppertal, that has ordered 10 units.

A maximum passenger seating layout with 39 city bus seats (Ster), a folding seat and a short special use area show what is possible in one of the two exhibits. 37 passenger seats in intercity seating (Kiel) as well as 2 folding seats and a large special utilisation area at door 2 height ensure flexibility and comfort in the second exhibit.

“Numerous options in the choice of materials for the side walls and floor, flexible seat layouts and a wide variety of electric door configurations further enhance the passenger compartment according to customer requirements”, MCV states.

The bus features CO2 heat pump and a purely electric auxiliary heater. An electric central motor drives the rear axle. The energy is provided by six battery packs on the roof totalling 462 kWh, provided by French Forsee Power.

MCV C127 EV features camera mirrors and cornering assist, among other things, and the designers have also thought about the driver: “An ergonomically designed workplace with numerous storage and stowage options offers maximum comfort and adjustability. The modern multifunction steering wheel gives the driver convenient access to a wide range of vehicle functions at all times. Easy-to-read and intuitive digital instruments convey the concept’s high level of future-proofing”.
