This electric bus has become the 200th vehicle purchased with the funds from the green bonds. The 800th Moscow electric bus is owned by Mosgortrans which is the main operator of urban surface public transport of the city. The new bus is now operating in the south of the city.

Electric buses were launched in the Moscow just 3 years ago, in 2018. They are now running on 61 bus routes. 58 million kilometers have been covered, over 128 million passengers have been carried, The Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development says. Nowadays there are more than 150 charging structures in the city. By the end of 2023 this number will increase up to 500 stations.

The Government of Moscow will launch 200 more new electric vehicles until the end of the year. There will be 1000 electric buses operating in Moscow by the 2022
