Bus2Bus 2024 begins tomorrow with a spotlight on the latest trends in the bus and supply industry. Over 140 companies (a 40 percent increase) from 20 countries are displaying innovative and sustainable mobility solutions. International companies cover 38 percent of the exhibitors.

Trade visitors can gain a comprehensive overview of the market from exhibitors including Magirus, MAN, Daimler Buses, DB Regio, MCV Deutschland, Ebusco, Anadolu Isuzu, OTOKAR, ARTHUR BUS, JBM, Lanzhou Guangtong, Omnicar, Tremonia Mobility, ALTAS AUTO, EKOENERGETYKA, Sono Motors, ZF, NOW, KEMPOWER, ioki, Jebsen & Jessen, Valeo and Voith.

In 2022 Bus2Bus has gathered more than 2,000 trade visitors from 25 countries along with around 100 exhibitors from 16 countries.

Bus2Bus 2024 ready with 30 buses on show

More than 30 vehicles will be at the show, equipped with climate-friendly drive systems – including the latest battery-electric buses, hybrid buses and fuel-cell buses.

Some of the buses are making their first appearance, including on the world stage, the organizers stress. JBM for example is displaying its prototype electric coach. Omnicar is presenting two brand new electric minibuses for public transport, available in six and seven-metre long versions. And Arthur Bus is displaying its ARTHUR ZERO 2.0 at BUS2BUS.

Federal Minister of Transport Dr. Volker Wissing already visited BUS2BUS 2022.A tour with Federal Minister of Transport Dr. Volker Wissing will open Bus2Bus on 24 April 2024. Afterwards at the Future Forum he will talk about mobility in Germany and open the bdo Political Talk. The Future Forum is on one of two stages at Bus2Bus, where at 60 panels and presentations over 100 international speakers will highlight solutions to meet the current challenges facing the mobility sector. This year sees the launch of the Deep Dive Stage, which will take an in-depth look at Future Forum topics and where exhibitors will present their products and services to audiences from private and public transport companies, coach tour operators and bus tourism.

Bus2Bus is set to provide valuable networking opportunities which promote a cross-sectoral dialogue between new and established players. One popular format is the Future Night, which will take place at the Marshall Haus on 24 April at 6 p.m. and is already sold out. BUS2BUS is also promoting dialogue between a wide range of mobility sector actors in the Networking Area, where the Young Mobility Network and Women in Mobility are among those taking part, and in the Startup Area, where 12 new innovative companies will present their products and services. 

On the Future Forum Stage on 25 April at 4.40 p.m. the presentation will take place of the Startup Award and Fresh Travel Award. At the BUS2Pitch, startups will be able to hold five-minute elevator pitches in a bid to impress the jury with their ideas (17 startups will be contending the award). The pitches for the Fresh Travel Award were previously held in a digital format, with a jury of experts presiding over events.
