We are now just a month and a half away from the 15th edition of FIAA, the international bus fair that finds its home in the Spanish capital, organized by Ifema Madrid: the event will be held in Halls 8 and 10 of the fairgrounds, October 22-25. In these hours, registration has officially opened for industry professionals, who can take advantage of a slightly reduced registration fee (until Oct. 21).

Pre-registration will enable professionals to adequately prepare for their visit in advance, as well as to participate in the event’s “Live Connect” platform. This is a space designed for business, knowledge and experience exchange, with the objective of fostering year-round connectivity within the bus and coach industry.

«We are pleased to announce that FIAA 2024 has already attracted the participation of leading manufacturers such as Daimler BusesIveco Bus and Volvo Buses. In addition, we have the support of prominent members of the National Association of Bus Body Manufacturers, Ascabus, such as Irizar, Unvi, Ferqui, Carbus Net, Beulas and Indcar, as well as almost a hundred companies from 14 countries. Furthermore, FIAA 2024 will host representatives from the leading public and private transportation providers. They will have dedicated space within the pavilions for networking with exhibitors and will participate in conferences with municipal transportation authorities from major Spanish cities and regional transport consortia from across Spain», FIAA press release annonces.

In addition to the trade exhibition, FIAA will host a comprehensive programme of technical conferences, including the award ceremony for the esteemed European Minibus of the Year awards, which will acknowledge the technological advancements of the bus industry, and the Sustainable Bus of the Year Award the inaugural European accolade that recognises sustainability in the field of buses and coaches, which will be presented for the first time at the Fair.
