On September 24 the 14th edition of InnoTrans will open its doors again and bring together key players in transportation and mobility technology from around the world. InnoTrans is the industry’s largest trade fair of its kind, with 200,000 square meters of exhibition space on the fully occupied Messe Berlin exhibition grounds.

Unique in the world are the 3,500 meters of tracks in the Outdoor Display, showcasing vehicles on rails: from the latest high-speed train to the smart streetcar.

What InnoTrans 2024 will look like

This year InnoTrans will focus specifically on digitization and sustainability. Exhibitors will show how advanced digitization is helping to make transportation more efficient, sustainable, and customer-friendly.

The day before the fair opens, at the International Press Circle, attendees will get an overview of some of the highlights of InnoTrans and the current state of the domestic and international rail industry: meet at the International Press Circle with the World Innovation Press Tour, Monday, September 23, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the press center in Hall 6.3

The International Press Circle at InnoTrans

This is actually the traditional press day that “anticipates” the opening to the public. Dirk Hoffmann, COO of Messe Berlin, and representatives of InnoTrans founding associations UNIFE, VDB, VDV, ZVEI and DVF will welcome the event. Afterwards, representatives of industry associations from abroad will be available for interviews. Exclusively, before the official start of InnoTrans, new products from the World Innovation Press Tour will be experienced on the Outdoor Display.
