Ben Werth has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer at pioneering bus manufacturer Wrightbus. He takes up the role alongside his current position as Managing Director of Wrightbus’s sister company Fuze Finance.

A few days ago the manufacturer announced that Jörg Hofmann will take the role of Wrightbus CEO starting in Q4 2022. Current CEO Buta Atwal has indeed announced he is going to retire at the end of this year.

Ben Werth new CCO of Wrightbus

A former Director in charge of asset finance at bus and coach firm Mistral Group with more than 26 years experience in the bus industry, Ben Werth will oversee all sales and commercial activity for the firm.

He will work alongside Managing Director Neil Collins to ensure a focus on both internal sales operations and external customer requirements. In his role with Fuze Finance, Ben has been working alongside John McLeister, Wrightbus Sales and Business Development Director.

Ben Werth said: “I am delighted to be taking on this new role. Having worked alongside John and his team for the last few months it is apparent that the level of recent successes and the projected growth strategy provided an opportunity for me to complement the current sales and business development team on their continued journey to becoming market leader within the zero-emission bus sector.”
