ZF will display CeTrax 2 dual electric central drive and the EcoLife CoachLine automatic transmission at Bus2Bus 2024 live on 24-25 April in Berlin. The digital fleet management solution Bus Connect will be also available for live experiencing. After showcasing a demonstrator of next generation of the AxTrax electric axle at Mobility Move 2024 in early March, then, the Friedrichshafen-based group will take the chance of Bus2Bus to present two other novelties from its offering.

ZF at Bus2Bus with CeTrax 2

At Bus2Bus, ZF will be located in Hub 27, Stand 307, and is also a participant in the discussion round in the “Future Forum”

The fully integrated, modular CeTrax 2 dual electric central drive system for intercity buses and coaches, already in the spotlight of UITP Summit 2023 and Busworld 2023, offers a continuous output of 380 kW and has an integrated three-speed gearbox. This increases efficiency at high travelling speeds and at the same time increases climbing ability. It follows the first generation CeTrax launched in 2020 and adopted for the first time by Solaris.

The EcoLife CoachLine 6-speed automatic transmission is designed for engine torques of up to 2,800 Nm. As an efficient transmission system, it is suitable for demanding coach operations, for example for winding routes and stop-and-go traffic in cities.
