Busworld Europe 2025 is not that close. However, as previews about products to be on launch at the expo in Brussels in October 2025 are being announced, here we are collecting an overview of the major releases visitors might expect from the largest bus and coach exhibition worldwide, running from from 4th to 9th October 2025 at Brussels Expo.
The previous edition of the fair, Busworld Europe 2023, hosted 526 exhibitors, including 75 bus builders (representing an increase from the 66 bus builders present in 2019) from 38 different countries. Notably, 182 of the exhibitors were new entrants to the event.
The exhibition spanned an impressive 75,000 square meters. One notable feature was the presence of 222 vehicles, with 29 of them available for outdoor demonstrations. Busworld Europe 2023 welcomed exhibitors from 38 different countries. Turkey took the lead with 96 companies, followed closely by Germany with 79 companies, and China with 61 companies.

Mercedes eIntouro will be launched at Busworld 2025
Mercedes eIntouro will be available for orders in first quarter of 2025, but public launch will happen at Busworld Europe 2025 in Brussels. The near-production prototype of the BEV version of Daimler Buses’ intercity bus has been presented in November 2024 at eMobility Days in Berlin. This launch marks the debut of Daimler Buses in the nascent intercity electric bus market.
Interestingly enough, it’s equipped with a different set of battery and driveline than the eCitaro range, made of LFP batteries by CATL and central motor by ZF.
Two lengths are available: the 12.18-metre eIntouro and the 13.09-metre eIntouro M. Seating variants from 50 to a maximum of 63 seats are covered.
The near-production prototype of the all-electric Mercedes eIntouro interurban bus is based on the diesel-powered Intouro, but is equipped with a battery-electric drive with LFP batteries and a central motor instead. As a result, Daimler Buses is able to switch to electric mobility for the first time for interurban routes, school buses, shuttle buses and excursion routes, as well as for short trips.
JBM updates electric coach at Busworld Europe 2025
JBM introduced two vehicles on the European market at Busworld 2023: the all-electric city bus Ecolife and the luxury coach (also battery-powered) Galaxy. Now, the Indian company plans an updated version of the electric coach to be coming at Busworld in 2025.
At least, this is what Daniel Fräde, Director of Sales, Marketing & After Sales Europe at JBM Group, told us at the European Mobility Expo 2024.
With over 5,000 electric buses already operational across various regions, JBM has clocked over 100 million electric kilometers and served more than 1 billion passengers in the last five years. The company aims to achieve over 1 billion e-kilometers and cater to 10+ billion passengers in the next 3-4 years.
UNVI: new city and intercity bus body coming
In 2025, Spanish bodybuilder UNVI will celebrate 30 years‘ history. At FIAA 2024 the company unveiled that in October 2025 it will present its new C26 urban and suburban bodywork at Busworld, “a modern, functional and sustainable model with maximum weight optimisation, designed with passenger and driver comfort in mind and made of environmentally friendly materials”, in UNVI’s words.
