Ingo Wortmann has been re-elected as VDV President. The Head of Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG) is then to remain at the helm of the industry association for another three years.

The challenges, especially in the past 17 months since the beginning of the pandemic, have been extraordinary. But so far we have mastered them very well together in the VDV and with great support from politics. I am sure that we will soon return our focus and all our energies to the implementation of public transport and the achievement of the climate protection goals in the transport sector. Because that is the big task for our industry in the coming years
