Iveco Bus Urbanway hybrid at European Mobility Expo 2022

Let’s begin with Iveco Bus, ready to raise the curtain on the mild hybrid version of the Urbanway. The standard 12-metre model with biomethane-compatible natural gas drivetrain will be on display at stand No. H26 in Hall 4.

The new hybrid technology, developed by Iveco Bus in close collaboration with Voith, will be available on the 10.5, 12 and 18-metre natural gas and biomethane Urbanway models, as well as in standard and articulated diesel versions, which are homologated for use with renewable fuels such as HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil).

In addition to the natural gas-powered Urbanway Hybrid, the Iveco Group company will be also premiering in Paris its latest zero-carbon mobility solution, the full electric midibus GX 137 ELEC (the 9.5-meter e-bus by Iveco Bus was delivered in two units in Bologna lately).

Safra Hycity at European Mobility Expo 2022: the heritage of the Businova

The Safra Hycity will also make its official debut in June at the European Mobility Expo in Paris. The vehicle benefits from the experience of its predecessor, the Businova, the first hydrogen bus manufactured in France by Safra, and launched since 2018 in five French cities.

The Safra Hycity incorporates shared components and standardized equipment, and has benefited from a complete restyling of interior and exterior design. The vehicle is currently available in 12-metre lengths and is offered in a 3-door version with a full flat floor. The 18-metre version is planned for 2023 (it is worth mentioning that Solaris announced for late 2022 the launch of its articulated hydrogen bus).
