Change at the helm in Heuliez Bus: Michele Abbondandolo is the new director of the Rorthais plant, where e-buses of the Iveco Bus range are built (E-Way and E-Way H2). He replaces (although the position is not the same), former CEO of Heuliez Bus Paul Quéveau.

Chief Operating Officer of Heuliez Bus since 2020 (following Rémy Foyer), Paul Quéveau is now joining the start-up Kate, where he will be helping to set up a new plant in the Rorthais business park in Mauléon (Deux-Sèvres), as reported on local media outlet Ouest France.

47-years old, Michele Abbondandolo has more than 20 years of experience in the industrialization and manufacturing of commercial vehicles within Iveco group’s family, taking on roles of increasing responsibility within Suzzara’s sites Brescia, Turin and Foggia in Italy.

“This new Director, with his experience in the industrial world, will enable the Rorthais site to consolidate its place at the forefront of electric bus factories in France“, Heuliez Bus states.
