The decision was taken unanimously by the\u00a0Supervisory Board of Keolis Group, under the presidency of Jo\u00ebl Lebreton, during a Supervisory Board that was held on Tuesday <strong>28 July 2020<\/strong>. Marie-Ange Debon will begin at the new position on 24 August 2020.<\/p>\n<p>In mid-June <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/news\/executive-chairman-patrick-jeantet-dismissed-after-four-months-at-keolis-helm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">former Chairman Patrick Jeantet\u00a0was dismissed by the Board<\/a>. He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/news\/patrick-jeantet-takes-the-role-of-keolis-group-executive-chairman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">had been appointed on 1 February 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10553\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/marie-ange_debon-2.jpg\" alt=\"Marie-Ange Debon\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/>\n<h2>Marie-Ange Debon, the career<\/h2>\n<p>Marie-Ange Debon, graduate of <strong>HEC<\/strong> Paris (1986) and the <strong>Ecole Nationale d\u2019Administration &#8211; ENA<\/strong> (1989), has held several managing positions in international groups so far.\u00a0From 2008 to March 2020, she was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of <strong>SUEZ Group<\/strong>, where she successively led the international division (\u20ac4.6bn turnover in more than 50 countries) and the French division (\u20ac5.8bn turnover,\u00a030 000 employees). She had initially joined\u00a0SUEZ Group as General Secretary when it was listed on the stock exchange in 2008, Keolis points out in the press note announcing the change at its helm.<\/p>\n<p>From 1998 to 2008, she held the position of\u00a0<em>Deputy Chief Financial Officer<\/em> and then <em>General Secretary<\/em> of\u00a0<strong>Thomson Group<\/strong>,\u00a0now\u00a0<strong>Technicolor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Between 1994 and 1998, Marie-Ange Debon was\u00a0Deputy CEO of France 3, the\u00a0national television channel, after\u00a0having spent four years as a <em>Magistrate<\/em> with the <strong>French Court of Auditors<\/strong> from 1990 to 1994.<\/p>\n<p>Marie-Ange Debon is also an Administrator of listed companies and Vice-President of <strong>MEDEF International,\u00a0<\/strong>the French Business Confederation.Furthermore, she is Administrator for a palliative care facility in Paris.<\/p>\n<h2>68,500 employees for Keolis worldwide<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Jo\u00ebl Lebreton<\/strong>, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Marie-Ange Debon to the Group\u2019s management.
