The corporation has recently showcased the latest addition to its Global Vehicle Motor (GVM) family<\/strong> of high-power, permanent magnet AC motors (PMACs). The electric motor for commercial vehicles\u00a0GVM310<\/strong> has a 310mm frame and provides a traction solution for on-road and off-road commercial electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs).<\/p>\n These include construction vehicles, city buses<\/strong>, light construction and materials and mining vehicles, the company points out. Adding that \u00abwhen used in conjunction with Parker\u2019s hydraulic pumps, the GVM family can also help customers realize electro-hydraulic pump (EHP) solutions that allow the electrification of formerly purely hydraulic applications\u00bb.<\/p>\n The electric motor GVM310 from Parker features peak power values ranging from 147 kW to 409 kW<\/strong>.
