The bus will run through the different TUA lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2020 a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/fuel-cell\/toyota-caetanobus-finlog-hydrogen-bus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">strategic alliance was announced between\u00a0<strong>Toyota<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Europe<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>CaetanoBus<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Finlog<\/strong> in an effort dedicated to the development and production of fuel buses in Europe.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_Sh06HHf6T4ugbW4Ckg9Grw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1663\" height=\"271\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/798X130-4.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13586\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/798X130-4.jpeg 1663w, https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/798X130-4-1536x250.jpeg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1663px) 100vw, 1663px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In January 2021 the public transport operator of Wiesbaden, in Germany, chose Caetano to deliver 10 hydrogen buses in the last quarter of 2021.&nbsp;In the same country the Portuguese producer has already been selected as the supplier to deliver&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/fuel-cell\/caetanobus-selected-in-germany-four-fuel-cell-buses-for-bielefeld\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">four hydrogen buses to Bielefeld\u2019s Transport Company<\/a>&nbsp;and supplied&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/news\/caetanobus-to-deliver-two-h2-city-gold-hydrogen-buses-in-germany\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">two hydrogen buses to the eFarm Project<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Wiesbaden the 12-meter&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/fuel-cell\/fuel-cell-bus-hydrogen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fuel cell bus<\/a>&nbsp;units will be operated by ESWE Verkehr, the public transport operator of Wiesbaden, on the routes 16 and 17. The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/electric-bus\/purple-dressed-ecitaro-in-wiesbaden-the-deliveries-have-begun\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">same operator has ordered as many as 56 units<\/a>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/electric-bus\/mercedes-ecitaro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mercedes eCitaro<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/ALSA-TUA-bus-hidrogeno-AYTO-OVD-08-1920x1080.jpg\" alt=\"oviedo fuel cell bus\" class=\"wp-image-13583\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Caetano hydrogen bus in Oviedo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 15th of April, the mayor of Oviedo, Alfredo Canteli together with the Councillor of Infrastructure, Nacho Cuesta, presented the <strong>Caetano H2.CityGold<\/strong> as the hydrogen bus that will run in Oviedo for the next months in a ceremony held in Plaza de la Catedral of Oviedo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The representatives of the participating companies in this initiative, CaetanoBus, <strong>ALSA<\/strong>, Authorities of Oviedo, Duro Felguera, Grupo HUNOSA and Nortegas, also attended the ceremony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the next three months, Oviedo\u2019s public transport operator, part of ALSA, will test the operational capabilities of Caetano hydrogen bus in regular passenger traffic on different TUA lines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this initiative, Oviedo joins other major European capitals, such as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/fuel-cell-bus\/alsa-test-hydrogen-bus-caetano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Madrid<\/a>, London, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/news\/ratp-caetano-hydrogen-bus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paris<\/a> and Dublin<\/strong>, which also tested Caetano hydrogen-powered buses, in order to understand the potential of this disruptive technology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The director of ALSA in the Cantabrian Coast also advanced that <strong>the strategy for the implementation of these vehicles in the city is scheduled for 2022<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is an honour for Caetano to have its H2.CityGold bus as the first hydrogen-powered bus to be tested in Oviedo. Our target is to start H2 bus operation from 2022 and we are working together with municipalities and partners to achieve a zero emission society.
