The Grid-eMotion\u00a0Fleet<\/strong> charging infrastructure system by Hitachi ABB Power Grids<\/strong> has been chosen to provide energy to the electric bus<\/a> fleet in Swedish V\u00e4ster\u00e5s<\/strong>, where a batch of 10 to 17 e-buses from Volvo is set to be delivered during 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hitachi ABB Power Grids (which is set to become Hitachi Energy since October 2021<\/a>) announced that it has won an order to supply its Grid-eMotion Fleet smart-charging infrastructure solution to the city. The contract was awarded by Holmbergs EL AB who will deliver the project to public transport operator, Svealandstrafiken AB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When it comes to the bus-related sector, Hitachi ABB Power Grids acts as a supplier of charging infrastructures for e-buses<\/strong>, with a recent agreement being reached with the UK-based startup Arrival<\/a>. The company is sponsor of the Sustainable Bus Tour 2021<\/a> and has taken part to the webinar \u201cThe electric depot. Charging and managing large e-bus fleets\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
