{"id":17072,"date":"2021-12-17T14:42:15","date_gmt":"2021-12-17T13:42:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/?p=17072"},"modified":"2021-12-17T14:42:17","modified_gmt":"2021-12-17T13:42:17","slug":"moscow-expand-tram-fleet-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/trolleybus-tramway\/moscow-expand-tram-fleet-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Moscow to expand tram fleet in 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>According to the <strong>Moscow<\/strong> Department of Transport, next year the public transport fleet of the city will be expanded with <strong>43 three-section trams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>trams<\/strong> will be put into operation on four routes in the Northern Administrative District and the North-Western Administrative District of Moscow, namely routes 6, 15, 30 and 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Department specified that the trams have the second highest capacity after the metro, being spacious, environmentally friendly and reliable. <strong>The new-generation trams have low floor, climate control system, USB and Type-C charging slots, bicycle, wheelchair and child baby carriage mounts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abIn addition to supplying trams, the manufacturer is also obliged to provide service support for 30 years, repair and maintenance of the trams. The new cars now operate on 87% of the routes. And in 2023, modern fully low-floor single-section and three-section cars will make up the absolute majority of trams in the city\u00bb, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport Maksim Liksuto said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier it was reported that this year Moscow has already received 71 trams, including 31 three-section Vityaz-Moskva and 40 single-section trams.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to the Moscow Department of Transport, next year the public transport fleet of the city will be expanded with 43 three-section trams.
