Denis Sverdlov steps back"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Arrival has a new CEO: Peter Cuneo. Denis Sverdlov is not in that position anymore. Despite\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainabletruckvan.com\/arrival-project-denis-sverdlov-letter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the letter<\/a>\u00a0written not long ago in order to explain\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainabletruckvan.com\/arrival-focus-shift-us-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the difficult time the Arrival project is facing<\/a>, Sverdlov was forced to step down. He will be replaced by former Chairman of the Board F. Peter Cuneo, now appointed interim CEO.\u00a0<strong>Denis Sverdlov becomes in turn Chairman of the Board<\/strong>. Cuneo has been at the helm of <strong>Marvel<\/strong> until it was sold to Disney in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally,\u00a0<strong>Avinash Rugoobur resigned as President and Chief of Strategy<\/strong>\u00a0on 22 November, 2022 for personal reasons, but will remain a Board member.\u00a0<strong>Rexford Tibbens will assume the role of Chairman of the Company\u2019s Strategic Planning and Operations Committee<\/strong>, which will work closely with management and focus on achieving key milestones across all divisions of the Company, including fundraising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"peter-cuneo-new-ceo-at-arrival\">Peter Cuneo new CEO at Arrival<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI intend to bring the full depth of my experience to this operational role, ensuring that the Company executes on its next set of strategic goals. I look forward to working closely with Denis, the rest of the Board and our employees for the benefit of all Arrival\u2019s stakeholders\u201d, stated\u00a0<strong>Peter Cuneo, who has resigned from the Board and the Audit Committee in order to focus on his duties as Interim CEO<\/strong>.
