Intelligent transport data platform CitySwift<\/strong> has raised an additional \u20ac7mn (\u00a36.0mn) in funding<\/strong>. The round was led by new investors Gresham House Ventures, who have invested \u20ac5mn (\u00a34.3mn), with existing investors following including ACT Venture Capital, Irelandia Investments, and the Western Development Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The investment will be used to accelerate CitySwift\u2019s platform development<\/strong>. These funds will also enable CitySwift to provide dedicated, specialised Customer Success<\/strong> supporting every stage of the customer journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CitySwift focuses on increasing the performance of public transport<\/strong> networks using smart analytics and optimisations. Based in Galway, Ireland, the company works with transport authorities and bus operators. CitySwift\u2019s platform aggregates, cleans and enriches data from hundreds of sources, enabling transport networks to deliver a more reliable and efficient service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CitySwift\u2019s customer base covers transport networks in all of the major UK cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Belfast, and the entire country of Wales. clients include National Express, Go-Ahead Group, Transport for Wales, Metroline, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, East Yorkshire Buses, Translink and Blackpool Transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CitySwift claims its intelligent data platform “has recently delivered up to 14% punctuality improvements for National Express, East Yorkshire Buses, and Blackpool Transport.
