In the same 2023 Solaris placed second in the battery-electric bus market (but kept the leadership of the zero emission bus market in Europe thanks to the H2 bus registrations).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"galati-electric-buses-in-romania\">Galati, electric buses in Romania<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The authorities of\u00a0the city of\u00a0Gala\u021bi, Romania, have selected the\u00a0supplier of\u00a0<strong>40 electric buses through a\u00a0tender procedure<\/strong>. Solaris will deliver 20 battery buses in\u00a0a 9-meter version and\u00a0another 20 with a\u00a0length of\u00a012 meters. The\u00a0e-buses will be\u00a0equipped with both <strong>plug-in charging sockets and\u00a0rails for\u00a0inverted pantographs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Solaris_Urbino_12_electric_2.jpeg\" alt=\"galati solaris electric buses\" class=\"wp-image-29483\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The battery-powered Solaris buses for\u00a0Gala\u021bi will be\u00a0equipped with Solaris High Energy batteries.
