Mobility Move <\/strong>is live until 7th March at the Hotel Estrel in Berlin. The one underway is the most successful edition of the event promoted by the VDV and until 2022 named ElekBu. 1,400 attendees are expected by 90 exhibitors<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n MAN<\/strong> showed the autonomous bus coming from BeIntelli project, testing autonomous driving in the center of Berlin<\/a>. BYD<\/strong> displayed again the new B2 platform with blade batteries integrated in the chassis<\/a>, launched at Busworld 2023<\/a> and headed to replace the 12-meter e-bus model now marketed on the European market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Being presented as a \u2018platform\u2019, it\u2019ll entail a new focus of BYD to build partnership with bodybuilders besides providing complete vehicles<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Solaris<\/strong> joined Mobility Move with a significant news: after the update of the articulated Urbino 18 Electric presented at Busworld, now the Polish company is showing its revamped 12-meter battery-electric Urbino with modular drive design and up to 600 kWh battery<\/a>. Van Hool<\/strong> is also at the expo, as well as Hess<\/strong>, Irizar e-mobility<\/strong> and Mellor<\/strong> (via DACH dealer Jebsen & Jessen). Otokar<\/strong> is again showing the e-Centro C. Also JBM<\/strong> and Ebusco<\/strong> attending, the latter with the 3.0 model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In Berlin Cambell<\/strong> made its first on the market. The company is daughter of the Chinese group Guantong New Energy Automobile, with headquarter in Gansu province. They presented a battery-electric city bus headed to the German market, with assembly made locally. MCV<\/strong> showed the C127 EV, recently awarded its first order in North Rhine-Westfalia<\/a>. On-site also Zhongtong<\/strong> with a 12-meter e-bus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Iveco<\/strong> brought at the Hotel Estrel its new Crossway Elec LE, while Daimler Buses<\/strong> presents the eCitaro fuel cell G<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ZF<\/strong> took the opportunity to showcase a demonstrator of the new generation of AxTrax electric axle<\/a>. Also in the components’ landscape, BorgWarner<\/strong> is at the expo as well as Kiepe Electric, Voith, Valeo, Eberspaecher<\/strong>. INIT<\/strong>, ioki<\/strong>, IVU<\/strong>, Imagry<\/strong>, PSI, Volytica Diagnostics, Widesense <\/strong>represented the ITS and telematic sector. Door supplier Ventura<\/strong> showed its demonstrator of innovative technologies already seen at Busworld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A populated autonomous driving area of the expo saw Holon<\/strong> (Benteler group) exhibiting their shuttle headed to Hamburg. The first vehicle is set to be delivered by end 2024. Easymile<\/strong> also showed its shuttle, while works are underway for a new platform in cooperation with Renault. Oddly enough VDL<\/strong> is not joining the expo with its e-bus range but with the autonomous bus demonstrator developed with automotive supplier Schaeffler<\/a>.
