Sightseeing bus company Tootbus<\/strong> announces it has secured approval for plans to install roof-mounted solar panels on their Wandsworth depot<\/strong>, working in collaboration with electric fleet solutions provider VEV<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This project “will power the existing electric fleet with 100% end-to-end renewable power, providing 65,000 kWh of electricity annually or approximately 60,000 km of travel per year once the full fleet has been converted to electric power”, Tootbus states. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tootbus to operate fully electric fleet by 2029<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The implementation of the solar panels is expected to take place this summer, with additional infrastructure projects in the pipeline to support Tootbus\u2019 plans to operate London\u2019s first fully electric sightseeing bus fleet by 2029<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
