Optibus<\/strong> is expanding into real-time data<\/strong> with the acquisition of Datik<\/strong>, a transportation technology company based in Basque Country, Spain, and formerly owned by Irizar group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The move will see Datik collaborate with Optibus\u2019 R&D and product teams on the development and launch of B2B and B2G SaaS products<\/strong> in the fields of passenger information, control and monitoring, safety, and operations, Optibus announces. The Israeli tech company is pursuing the goal of becoming the industry\u2019s ultimate all-in-one digital operating system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Optibus has recently signed a supply partnership with Volvo Buses<\/a>. Its transit software has been adopted by 5,000 cities worldwide (growing 5-fold in 2 years)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
