Domenico Nucera appointed group&#8217;s Chief Quality &amp; Operations Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Claudio Passerini <\/strong>has been appointed as <strong>President of Iveco Group&#8217;s Bus Business Unit<\/strong> with<strong> immediate effect.<\/strong> The change has been announced today, 21st January 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passerini succeeds to <strong>Domenico Nucera<\/strong>, that will assume the newly created role of <strong>Chief Quality &amp; Operations Officer<\/strong> and has led the Bus Business Unit of Iveco Group since its inception in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/news\/domenico-nucera-cnh-industrial-bus-unit\/\">late 2021<\/a>. He had also been covering the position of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/news\/domenico-nucera-cnh-industrial-bus-unit\/\">2024 Chairperson of ACEA bus and coach division<\/a>. We have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/interview\/domenico-nucera-president-iveco-bus-acea-competition-e-mobility\/\">interviewed him in late 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both will report directly to Olof Persson, CEO of Iveco Group. Integrated Quality &amp; Operations will connect every operational aspect of the business \u2013 from sourcing to production and delivery \u2013 enabling the Group to work even more cohesively and efficiently&#8221;, Iveco Group states in a press note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claudio Passerini, graduated at Bocconi University, has a long history in the automotive industry at multi-national companies in Italy, Brazil, Russia and Germany, developing expertise in B2B sales, private equity funds, commercial turnaround, and transformation projects, the company says. He had been working for Pirelli and Fyntire. His latest position has been <strong>Global VP Sales&amp;Marketing at FPT Industrial<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other changes at the helm of Iveco Group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Within this reorganization of managements roles, <strong>Angela Qu<\/strong>, previously Chief Supply Chain Officer, has elected to leave the organisation to pursue other interests, while <strong>\u00c1ngel Rodr\u00edguez Lagunilla<\/strong>, previously Chief Manufacturing Officer, will become Head of Manufacturing Operations, reporting to Domenico Nucera and maintaining a pivotal role in the development of the Group&#8217;s production value chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Olof Persson<\/strong>, CEO, Iveco Group, said: \u201cThis announcement marks a key milestone in Iveco Group\u2019s journey towards excellence and demonstrates our commitment to placing quality even more at the centre of our operations. Under this new model, <strong>we are strengthening our strategic approach to manufacturing, sourcing and logistics<\/strong>, while increasing our focus on delivering quality products and maximising customer satisfaction.
