The first\u00a0UK\u00a0bus manufacturing panel<\/strong> was held on 13th March, with Local Transport Minister, Simon Lightwood<\/strong>, hosting the event at Canon Medical Arena in Sheffield, alongside industry experts from organisations including Alexander Dennis, the Urban Transport Group and the Confederation of Passenger Transport<\/strong>.\u00a0The introduction of the panel was anticipated in the Buses Bill<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discussions explored ways of ensuring that the\u00a0UK\u00a0remains a leader in bus building while helping local authorities to deliver their transport ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
