A new chassis specially made for three-axle electric buses-that’s the news from Scania<\/strong>. The Griffin, in fact, has announced the expansion of its range of e-bus offerings, unveiling the version of the ad hoc chassis also for battery-powered vehicles intended for mission profiles that are not purely urban<\/strong>, as three-axle buses usually are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-axle electric bus chassis by Scania<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is a variant, named 6×2*4, of the 4×2 LE Bev platform for battery electric buses, introduced in 2023<\/strong>. The new space-saving version <\/strong>is designed to meet the needs of medium- and heavy-duty operations and, with greater passenger capacity than the current one, is suitable for shorter urban, suburban, and intercity routes. The new electric chassis is built to provide maximum performance in tough conditions throughout its lifetime, and its flexibility allows it to be further adapted to the needs of outfitters and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
