{"id":3839,"date":"2018-10-10T09:22:56","date_gmt":"2018-10-10T07:22:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/?p=3839"},"modified":"2020-07-08T16:48:56","modified_gmt":"2020-07-08T14:48:56","slug":"busworld-academy-and-uitp-the-partnership-get-stronger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/news\/busworld-academy-and-uitp-the-partnership-get-stronger\/","title":{"rendered":"Busworld Academy &#8211; UITP, the partnership get stronger"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><strong>Busworld Academy and UITP<\/strong> have announced a continuation of a strategic partnership that will see the two collaborate for the <strong>International Bus Conference in 2019<\/strong>.\u00a0The agreement \u2013 jointly signed by Busworld Academy President Redgy Deschacht and UITP Secretary General Mohamed Mezghani &#8211; continues the relationship between UITP and Busworld Academy, which has seen joint conferences on regional events such as Busworld Latin America (Medellin, 5-7 December 2017) and Busworld Russia (Moscow, 23-25 October 2018).<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3840 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Schermata-2018-10-10-alle-09.17.33.png\" alt=\"busworld academy uitp\" width=\"863\" height=\"573\" \/>\n<h2>Busworld Europe moving to Bruxelles<\/h2>\n<p>Since the Busworld Europe exhibition is moving to Brussels in 2019, the International Bus Conference will see the event take place at the Brussels Expo Centre in the Belgian capital for the very first time (18-23 October 2019) with the previous edition taking place in Kortrijk (23-25 October 2017).\u00a0The new venue and location are a <strong>unique opportunity to organise the biggest International Bus Conference ever<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Busworld Academy and UITP, a partnership<\/h2>\n<p>The first edition of 2017 was a huge success with Sold Out status and almost 500 registered participants for the three day conference.\u00a0By joining forces Busworld Academy and UITP brought together the oldest and most famous bus and coach exhibition and UITP\u2019s global expertise.\u00a0The conference allowed visitors of the Busworld Europe exhibition \u2013 which attracted over 37,000 visitors from 118 countries with 376 exhibitors from 33 countries &#8211; to complement their visit with rich insights and practical takeaways from the established UITP International Bus Conference.\u00a0<strong>Hundreds of exhibitors have already registered for the 2019 edition<\/strong> and information on the Conference \u2013 including speakers and programme \u2013 will become available at a later date.<\/p>\n<h3>A new bus era, according to UITP<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s announcement with Busworld Academy is another solid step in our journey to build on our foundation on knowledge, networking and outreach and become a leader in the <strong>new bus era<\/strong>.
