Romanian government, together with the municipalities, issued a <strong>tender for 12 meters electric buses, 15 fast charging stations and 51 slow charging stations<\/strong>. The whole contract is worth <strong>30 million euros<\/strong> (141 375 000.00 RON) and is related to a <strong>UE funded program<\/strong>. Tenderers could submit their offer till 17th January 2019 (later extended to <strong>12th March 2019<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4354\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/15667152923_bb88b6bf6e_b-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"tender electric bus romania\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/>\n<h2>Four municipalities will receive electric buses<\/h2>\n<p>The supply will involve four Romanian municipalities. Each electric bus will be delivered together with its slow charging stations. <strong>Alba Iulia<\/strong> will receive 13 ebuses, each one with a slow charging station, and 4 fast charging stations; <strong>Buzau<\/strong> will enjoy 9 vehicles and 9 slow charging stations together with 3 fast charging infrastructure.\u00a0<strong>Constanta<\/strong>\u00a0will take 20 ebuses, 20 slow charging and 5 fast charging stations. Finally, <strong>Ploiesti<\/strong> will receive 9 ebuses, the same number of slow charging stations and 3 fast charging. The tender specifications require a guarantee for \u00ab<span lang=\"en\">minimum 500.000 km or 5 years (which condition is fulfilled first), from the date of putting into service\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Alba Iulia: 13 electric buses &#8211; 13 slow charging stations &#8211; 4 fast charging stations<\/p>\n<p>Buzau: 9 electric buses &#8211; 9 slow charging stations &#8211; 3 fast charging stations<\/p>\n<p>Constanta: 20 electric buses &#8211; 20 slow charging stations &#8211; 5 fast charging stations<\/p>\n<p>Ploiesti: 9 electric buses &#8211; 9 slow charging stations &#8211; 3 fast charging stations<\/p>\n<h2 data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"50\">Hybrids and trolleybuses in Baia Mare, Romania<\/h2>\n<p>Recently, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/news\/electric-bus-tenders-weekly-bulletin-sustainable-bus-bulgaria-italy-consip-strasbourg-monheim-romania\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tender was issued by the municipality of Baia Mare<\/a> for hybrids with a lenghts of 12 and 18 metres, articulated trolleybuses and short electric buses. The lots were divided as follows: the first includes 21 city buses, 14 of which are 12-metre hybrids and 7 articulated; the second lot is made up of six 18-metre trolleybuses; the third one concerns six electric buses. The deadline for submission of tenders was 27 November.<\/p>\n<h2>Cluj Napoca, 41 Solaris electric buses ordered<\/h2>\n<p>The Romanian city of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/electric-bus\/electric-bus-solaris-urbino-12-order-cluj-napoca-romania\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cluj Napoca already ordered (and received) 11 units of electric bus<\/a>, model <strong>Solaris Urbino Electric 12<\/strong>. An order followed by another contract signed also with Solaris Bus &amp; Coach for <strong>18 units of electric bus<\/strong>. As the framework agreement include\u00a0<strong>41 electric buses Solaris Urbino in\u00a0total<\/strong>, Cluj Napoca will become the\u00a0city with the\u00a0highest number of\u00a0Solaris Urbino electrics in\u00a0Europe. The\u00a0first 11 electric Solaris buses were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainable-bus.com\/electric-bus\/battery-electric-bus-romania-first-delivery-solaris-urbino-electric\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">delivered to\u00a0the customer in\u00a0spring this year<\/a>. <strong>Another 12 buses will make it\u00a0to Cluj Napoca by\u00a0the end\u00a0of 2018<\/strong>.
